The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension participated in Paskwa 2022 with the theme, “Pagsaulog sang Kabuhi kag Kadalag-an”. The OVCRE constituted by the Regional Research Center, Philippine Genome Center, National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Sentro ng Wikang Filipino, Technology Transfer and Business Development Office, Gender and Development Office and Office of Continuing Education and Pahinungod was well-represented in the various activities organized by the university. 

Last December 16, 2022, the Lantern Parade capped off the series of Paskwa activities. Big lanterns and handheld lanterns illuminated the campus as the students, faculty and staff cheered their way through the UPV Covered Court. Offices and colleges competed in the caroling contest, hand-held and big lanterns, lantern parade performance and the contest for Mr. and Ms. Charms. The OVCRE bagged 2nd place in the caroling contest. The whole covered court was filled with loud cheers and energy the whole night. The spirit of the Christmas season was truly enjoyed by the UPV community as we celebrated life and victories.
