Too Big to Ignore Philippines launched their book about small-scale fisheries in the Philippines last July 11, 2023. The book featured small-scale fishermen from all over the country. It contains 78 essays and stories which tackles the everyday life, struggles and successes of small-scale fishers from different provinces of the country. This book provides a definition on what small-scale fisheries is in the perspective of small-scale fishers themselves. The contributors of the book, the academe, fisherfolks and representatives of government agencies were present to witness the said book launch. Dr. Ratana Chuenpagdee, TBTI Global Project Director and Dr. Yinji Li, TBTI Japan Coordinator and UPV Chancellor Clement C. Camposano were also present at the book launch. UPV CAS Dean Dr. Alice Joan G. Ferrer and UPV Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, Dr. Harold M. Monteclaro serve as editors of the book.
