The university signed a Memorandum of Agreement together with 30 SUCs and HEIs in the country last July 11, 2023 at the Little Theater, UP Visayas City Campus. The university was represented by Chancellor Clement C. Camposano. Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension, Dr. Harold M. Monteclaro and CAS dean Dr. Alice Joan G. Ferrer was also present in the said MOA Signing. VCRE Monteclaro and CAS Dean Ferrer serve as co-project manager and project manager of T in BTI Philippines, respectively. 

The university is working hand in hand with other research institutions and most especially our fisherfolks to uplift small scale fisheries in the country.
