The University of the Philippines Visayas Regional Research Center (UPV-RRC), together with its building partners, opened its doors to UPV constituents and other stakeholders during their Open House last February 26, 2025. They showcased their research capabilities, state-of-the-art laboratories, cutting-edge equipment and instruments to the visitors. 

This activity of the RRC together with its building partners (SERDAC, TTBDO, NICER and PGC Visayas) highlighted the innovations, research and development capabilities of the whole Regional Research Center as well as introduced the newest addition to their expanding services, the i2i Makerspace–a dynamic collaborative hub for students, educators and industry professionals. 

The event was attended by four batches of UPV constituents and external stakeholders; some were even first-timers in the RRC Building. It was an enriching experience for everyone since they first-handedly witnessed the wide array of resources, services and opportunities available in the RRC and from its building partners.
